An entertaining story overall, even if the plot as a whole felt a little bit like deja vu I wished for a bit of world building to make it memorable The characters were interesting and I especially liked the flashbacks all thourough the story to get to know them deeper, but I wished for a bit , especially to be able to grow closer to the main character.Full review coming soon on Drizzle Hurricane Books

Full review on my blog bookidote.wordpress 2016 I was disappointed with the premise and the characters It was all too predictable and a fantasy clich Maybe it s because I ve read a lot of fantasy stories and started to see all the plots repeating themselves, but in a few words we have the main character who has a guy best friend, suddenly she wants to go to a kingdom so badly but she is just a mundane girl What a surprise While she was running away, she meets the prince of that exact kingdom He [...]

A young girl, Ela, lives with a group of people that live in the trees She feels she doesn t fit in and dreams of what it would be like to live in a big city She dreams of freedom and shares that with Caden, her best friend Caden shares with her a map that he has found and that begins their journey They travel to Ezeth Instead of dreams of freedom in a big city, she finds out about her past She wanted to find her family and finds out secrets and a city ruled by dark magic Ela also finds out abou [...]

I won this book in a giveaway in exchange for a fair review I d give this book a solid 3.5 stars It was completely adequate, though not overall dazzling The characters were a little 2D, but it was better than it could have been because they were enjoyable The novel followed a basic, generic fantasy plot line, and even though it did a good job, there wasn t very fresh or innovative It did get good near the end, which is what bumped it that extra.5 star I d recommend it to anyone looking for a fun [...]

Disclaimer I won this book on.I enjoyed this book Even though it has over 400 pages, it didn t take long to read The story contained some action and much humor mixed in with the fantasy and the occasional tragedy There were some unexpected twists Usually, I am not a fan of love triangles, but I suppose they must be excused in cases of young people who are not sure what they want Also, I liked this one better than most.
